Slash recording solo album with guests Chris Cornell, Iggy Pop, Fergie and a former G n' R bandmate

Guitarist Slash is working on a new solo album that will feature several guests vocalists and according to Slash’s Twitter account, former Guns n’ Roses drummer Steven Adler and Red Hot Chili Pepper’s bassist Flea will be dropping by the studio to play on a track this week.
Slash’s rhythm section for most of the album will consist of Josh Freese on drums and Chris Chaney on bass. Singers contributing to the project include Iggy Pop, Chris Cornell, and Stacy Ann Ferguson better known as Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.
Another posting on Slash’s Twitter stream mentions that he plays guitar on the theme song for the new movie Bruno and that there’s a cameo of him, Snoop Dog, Sting, Chris Martin and Bono at the end of the film.
