Iggy likes Kraftwerk and Kraftwerk have mentioned him in a song, so this is probably safe to post here.

Drummer Wolfgang Flür has a site for his new band here:
http://www.yamomusic.de/

Go to "create". You will hear a short loop from one of his songs.

Each of the eight sounds have their own volume knob, so you can do your own mix while you listen. I haven't seen that one before, but it's a neat idea!

Now use the same idea and put the entire Raw Power multitrack tape online! After all these years and so many weird mixes, no mix is ever going to satisfy everyone (anyone?), so let everyone create their own multiple versions!

... real pity this is just a dumb joke, I would have loved to have a go on those multitracks, wouldn't everyone?

Too bad everything wasn't mixed like Doojiman. If the whole album sounded like that it'd be fantastic.

if the "deluxe" raw power had been a trully DELUXE edition there outta be a DVDRom including all the sonic material as separate tracks for everybody to mix or remix or even mess up as they please.
[bowie's already done it for the 40th anniversary edition of "space oddity"; other bands have done similar things as well; b-52's for example].

as for kraftwerk, they've been huge fans of the stooges and have credited them as a major influence in various early 70s interviews. they even had stooges bootlegs [!!!] and when they were in france to promote "radio activity" they paid a visit to skydog as to get multiple copies of "metallic"
