Iggy & The Stooges take to the Main Stage. Iggy still appears to be defying the laws of ageing as he lurches and writhes around the place, pouring Volvic water over himself at a rate of about a bottle per minute - rather a waste I thought. Why not just install a shower above the mic stand? Speaking of which, the stand gets its customary battering, the long-suffering roadie shuttling back and forth from the sidelines to upright the thing only for Iggy to grab it like a cable tosser in a Highland games and send it cartwheeling once more. Except he doesn't seem to really mean it. The set is mired in farce. During one of his intermittent forays out towards the audience, he manages to fall down a trench between the stage and crowd barrier so that a faint moan is heard over the speakers from the mic lying some distance from the sprawling dinosaur. Next he invites everyone on to the stage and literally hundreds oblige. It takes about ten minutes to clear them away. It's all quite funny and a bit lame, because ultimately the band should have hung up their guns years ago.

"Sprawling dinosaur?" And "the band should have hung up their guns years ago?" This sonofabitch doesn't even say anything about the MUSIC. This has to be the worst concert review I ever read. They should fire this creep. Evil or Very Mad

I guess that jouranlist went to the Fuji Rock for a younger band. Lack of respect fot the old dinosaur's a shame.

I firmly believe these attention whore critics just write shite like this to get themselves noticed. You know, LOOK AT ME! I wrote an unfavorable review! Bad news sells. Bet the Stooges would laugh at this anyway. Does anybody read Fact Magazine--I never heard of the rag.

During the Avenue B tour I read a nasty review and wrote back to the newspaper and THEY PRINTED it. I reamed 'em real good. YAY me!
