| Yes the Tube sessions ...... My Father was friends with a journalist who worked in the same company ,channel four, where the Tube program was made. So when I realized Iggy was going to be a guest I asked if I could come over to Newcastle and spend the day hanging out. I got to meet Iggy and his band which was fun and see them rehearse. Also got to see how the producer worked and make his cuts for the show. Then when Iggy returned for the Real Wild Child set at the tube I hung out again for the day. | |

I get a impression that you don't wanna give too much info for a reason. guess that's ok. You know reading the stuff from Mindless, who also was at quit a few gigs in earlier days, gave a lot detailed info in his posts...and that's so fucking awesom for us > the people who tuned in much later! Like I start to know a bit now about the Stooges and Iggy and really have a huge heart pounding for them severely. Because starting to get the whole picture. And with this the band, the Stooges music and very much Iggy do more and more blow my mind completely! |

| I have a funny one,I got on the guest list for a gig at Nottingham in 1980 with the promise I'd be bringing along something for the band to snort .....well that part didn't happen as planned and Rob Dupray was so peed off he beat me up. I had taken along several LPs belonging to a friend of mine for Iggy to sign ,he was so mad at me he scribbled obscenities ALL over them, really went to town .....Not a fun time at all. | |

| hahahaha...TED..wow man...that's really a massive one! Guess you met 'the monster' were Mindless wanted to warn us for....hahhahaha....I'm convinced now! This is great...I mean...damn...the situation wasn't...it was a fucking nasty time with the drugs and stuff! But also magic.....because Ig and the Stooges sort of overcame the whole shit period! And you're also still alive I guess so FUNNY !!! So do you still got those 'mad scribbled obscenities all over LP's': ah....I would've give quit something i think to get such one! TED your great! thnx man!!! If you got more such stories; it's welcome here! give them history and future!!!! and man...this was your time..isn't it? |

| What was quite funny was Ivan actually saved me from being totally whacked. My friend David still has his LPs and I got Iggy to sign a hand painted tobacco tin which I still have. | |
