I have another Kill City question. I'm needing help with the lyrics and chords/tab of Consolation Prizes. For the chords or tabs could it be in standard tuning if possible (from highest to lowest: EBGDAE). Anyway I have some of the lyrics I've put "..." where I cant figuire out the lyrics. there are a number of versions, lyrics wise, theres one thats

"well you're a sweet baby on the boulevard"

then later

"its the way ... below her tits"

but theres also

"its a way ... between your tits"

i tried to figure them out, and noticed it during the listen, always knew there were different mixes but didnt know there were different vocals, sorry i cant be more helpful, theyre typcially impossible to make out!

Those are thr lyrics Matt Gimmick used.. but they were made up as far as I know

I'd think it is more likely that Matt Gimmick's Fresh Rag does use the Stooges lyrics and that track on 71 and Rarities is not actually Rag at all.

Possibly... But Matt Gimmick used a tape of the stooges live at Birmingham, MI December 71... and I think it wasn't great quality so he made up lyrics...

The guitar on Gimmick's version of rag is just like the version on 71 Rarities..but the guitar chorus' are different however.. I like the stooges version more...

I've tried, I really have but its near to impossible. I only have the bad sounding studio version but if anybody could upload a live version I'd do my best do decipher it.

Here you go, I think is roughly them. The words in speachmarks are what Iggy says at the start apart from his little singing bit of the word "blues" and the ones in italics which is probably the voice of the guy recording them. Enjoy
