Stooges 1st is getting a release on Japanese SHM-CD: http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/2798796

Basically SHM (Super High Material) CDs are only produced in Japan and use the material for LCD screens instead of the plastic they use for normal cds. Here's some blurb - http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue39/shmcd.htm

I've got a few SHMs and they sound absolutely fantastic.

If we're lucky it may come in a mini lp sleeve and then Funhouse and Raw Power to follow!
