One of the condolence letters to the band I got was from them.

The Dec. 17th show featuring the Stooges will be rebroadcast on Sky TV UK. Dates TBA but here's the link:

I have it taped but only on VHS. Any idea how I can transfer it to DVD?

There is a machine that you can buy that will transfer from vhs to cd. theyre not very expensive in the states now, im buying a new one next week, old one broke. Ill let you know how much it costs.

record with a dvd-recorder,please do not use a computer because if you ain't got a good videocard the sound will go out of sync.

you could send the tape, or a copy of the tape, or record this again on another tape and send that to popmansam G?

i have a macbook, external HDD, sky, cybershot camera, can i do anything with these?

the best version that could be possible is if some one captured from the broadcast straight to their pc.

the next best bet would be a vhs transfer to the pc.

the next best option is a vhs -> standalone dvd recorder transfer.

i dont have a VHS or DVD recorder so i dont think i can help unfortunately, i might know someone how does though, let me get back to you

they should show montreux again thats an amazing performance, i dunno about from the basement, it was amazing but stooges need a crowd its a two way street u'no, theyre not really a ''quiet acoustic session" sort of band, even iggy was gettin antsy towards the end

Sky arts tv show 17.12.2008 is 4 songs from Motreaux jazz festival 2006.

can you tell us if this was a session or 4 tracks from the montreux festival?

In that order if I remember right. "T.V. Eye" sounded especially amazing. And Iggy mentioned "God Is Dead" during a montage of them setting up.
