After the sad news I started listening to pretty much every track Ron's ever played on. So I was wondering, what's your favorite song/album/band that he played in, apart from the Stooges?

I love Destroy All Monsters and The Wylde Rattz. The album "Bored" is my favourite Destroy All Monsters album, its got some great riffs and its just...well...brilliant!

What I've heard by The Wylde Ratttz I've really REALLY enjoyed. Especially "She's Like Poison", Ron plays guitar AND piano. Smile Its one of my favourite songs of all time, its just a twisted, love song. Really beutiful.

I could never get into The New Order, the guy's voice irritates me so much, it reminds me of Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden and I sadly can't get passed that.

Whats yours?

Good calls. I only recently found out how great 'She's like poison' is, I wish there was more or just something out from Wylde Ratttz and I wish I'd seen them live.

DAM is definitely one of my favorites also. The first time I heard the track Bored I couldn't believe what I'd missed out on. That guitar and feedback, legendary stuff.

I also like the riffs from Dark Carnival, but somehow the songs just don't work for me.

I also worship the guitar on the New Order song 'of another world'.

Basically I couldn't decide, which is why I asked.

Ron was the greatest.

Just gave "Of Another World" another listen, the guitar sounds amazing its so calm then its like eats piercing into your ear. Which makes it even worse that the lyrics truly are awful, they almost match the singing. Which is such a shame as the guitar sounds UNBELIEVABLE.

The singer ruined this.

'Hit Them Again' by Radio Birdman. Ron didn't play on that song, but co-wrote it with Deniz Tek. I like the New Race's live and only album they recorded 'The First and The Last'. Ron plays cool solos there Smile

Yeah I understand why you wouldn't like the singer of the New Order. But the playing is just so good on that song, specially those high notes.
