Zeit1 to release "Lust For Life" DVD Feb 10th

Zeit1 have announced the February 10th release of Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life." This DVD was filmed in 1986 when Pop was enjoying a successful period with the release of the Blah Blah Blah album and the hit single Real Wild Child. The film captures Pop on the tour and away from the stage for a series of interviews that cover his career up to that moment in time.

Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton is also interviewed and like Pop goes into detail concerning The Stooges and their perception of why the band split. Filled with exclusive interview and archive footage, some of which has never been seen. This film paints a full picture of one of rock music's enduring talents.

It's MVD distributing again, who have a bit of an Iggy catalogue. They offered "Live in Detroit" first too.

but MDV chose an expensive shipping company to Europe 25 dollar + 18,95 for the dvd.. wow
Prob. gonna wait till i can get it somewhere else.

this is the same dutch tv documentary "lust for life" from 1986. let's hope this is cleaned up from the previous bootleg copies.

looks good, but Zins right, all that for 40mins? i think ill wait, i got that live in san fran one for like £2 or £3 a while back, though when i got it i knew why, sucked, the performance nad music was good, but it was like a very bad audience recording, and was only like a half hour long or something, well mabye not that short, but only had like 9 or 10 songs i think, havent watched it in ages

Isaw Iggy in that tour. Thought it was a real good band. But 40 minutes, wait till it hits the cut out bin.

Ordered a copy from Amazon marketplace on friday came yesterday.

Quality is what you would expect from a '80's TV show, no extras whatsoever, good early clips which have appeared on other docs.

£7.99 + £1.24 for 41 mins ??

thats a good price, considering they were asking for like $30 for the DVD and like $15/$20 for the p&p, or something ike that

though 41mins? strikes me as something you'd tack on to another main event thing, ike what easyaction did, they had two really long interviews with iggy on one DVD on a giant amazing boxset (WTFS2) - though the interviews with Ron make this DVD worthy owning
