Iggy has touring almost all his life, so he will probably do that now too.

i kinda figured anyway, the sound of king of the dogs implied a lot of musicians, plus it was just a soundtrack, that and Rons death all come together to suggest no tour

Hi, I very often read this forum and today I can give you big news from france !

Iggy will present his new album "Preliminaires" during a special tv show called "Nightclubbing II" on canal +. He'll play 7 songs of his new album and also songs with other artists. The show will be recorded on march 24th and 25th, and I'm very very happy and lucky because I succeeded in getting a ticket to be in the audience ! I just can't wait !!!

Yes, I'm very lucky ! I can't believe it...I had the chance to see the Stooges playing "The Weirdness" entire album for a tv gig in 2007 before the album launch ! It was hard to be part of the audience... And now, once again, I'm going to see Iggy playing his new jazz album ! After this bad year begining...I'm glad to see him and support him.

The show will be broadcasted on french tv canal + on april 27th. I'll do my best to tell you the gig

wow! you actually are sooo lucky, the only thing beating heasring all weirdness live would be hearing all of one of the original albums live

In fact they didn't played the entire album but 8 songs : ATM, My Idea Of Fun, Greedy Awful People, She Took My Money, I'm Fried, Trollin', Free & Freaky, I Wanna Be Your Dog and the great O Solo Mio. I regret this was the only time I saw them playing O Solo Mio, but they were very exited to present us this new album ! Iggy was very moving during O Solo Mio. At the end of the show, he sang a very short bed song and then he went...

I didn't record anything, I couldn't, but it was broadcasted "The Stooges le live de la semaine" on canal +.

how comes I don't know you ? I was there too, at the recording 2 years ago, it was intense. Got the recording on dvd if you need a copy. They did not air Trollin' for a strange reason, maybe the show was just too long to fit on their cluster...

Anyway, it seems hard to find some seats for that Nightclubbing II thing, lucky you. I guess I'm lucky enough to have see Iggy 3 times at Canal+ in 1999 where he played Avenue B, Facade and Raw Power (I almost came in my pants when he played that one, damn, it was the hell of a surprise), in 2001 where they did 5 songs (maybe not in that order) : Mask, L.O.S.T, Beat'em up, Go for the throat and No Fun (never aired on tv either) and then the 2007 thing we've talk about.

I received the name of the artists who will do the show and may sing with Iggy : Catherine RINGER, AYO, Arielle DOMBASLE, Keren ANN, Stephan EICHER, PEACHES, Benjamin BIOLAY, and China MOSES...The show will be recorded in a decor of "Saint Germain des Prés" street of the 50s.

god...I wish I could get a DVD copy of the first nightclubbing show,
I hope they will release these shows on DVD someday....
