It's too bad that Bob Gruen didn't care for Iggy until the solo years or that would all be Stooges footage. I think that the Chuck Berry/Doo Wop aspects of the Dolls' music won over the NY glitterati whereas the Stooges just seemed feral to most of them. At least the MC5 had a few people with film cameras (like the FBI!) around them.

I tried to see Thunders twice but he cancelled one show after "slamming his hand in a car door" and the other due to "bad weather".
