| How about Pautl T and Adams66 chiming in on which the best Stooges books are? Not that they'd be biased...lol | |

| I've always been a fan of Per Nilsen's Wild One which was published in 1987 and updated the following year. This excellent book (the perfect mix of info and superb photos) set me off on a mission to discover Iggy facts and figures. Thanks Per. Paul's great book, is however, surely the most in depth bio of of Iggy that we are going to read, unless Iggy himself decides to write his own. And that would have to be a genuine autobiography, not like the hugely entertaining, but factually dubious, I Need More. Cheers, Richard | |

| I read an interview on the webz (no link) about 10 years ago where Iggy said he wrote a book in detail about the first 52 women he fucked. Volume One with more to come. He took it around to several publishers and nobody wanted it!!! They all said it wasn't really a book. WTF? That thing would have sold a million copies worldwide and become a number one BEST SELLER. | |

| I believe that some of that book, or rather the idea behind it, was partially reused on the Avenue B album - some of those tracks reflecting on past conquests and relationships started life as more upbeat reminiscences in that unpublished memoir of partners. Cheers, Richard | |

Klaus Kinski's autobiogrpahy I Need Love / Uncut is basically this and it's excellent. The guy was a crazed sex machine.

| It's a dirty shame Iggy's sex memoirs didn't make it into print. It would have been a real page turner. Everybody likes to read sex smut like that from the stars own perspective. I know I do. Maybe there was legalities holding up the works. Like all those legions of ho-bags Iggy hosed down would sue the pants off him. Not wanting the whole world to read about what cheap slutty tramps they really are. And not even getting paid! I'M SO SURE. And yeah Richard, I think Avenue B is the hawt sexy album. When we were standing in line to see that gig the help staff came out and gave us free special CDs with bonus songs. Looks like I'll have to go for that Kinski book if I can find it then mc. Wonder if he got prosecuted? WHO in their right mind would blow that nasty ol' fucker? Just the thought of that makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Ewwwwwwy! | |

| Ooooooo Lee Van Cleef is a red hot slab of man meat fer shizzle. Just saw him in 12 O'Clock High with the COOP. He epitomizes eveil. And what about that dastardly Jack Palance in Shane! Old westerns rock so hard. Another nasty man was Eroll Flynn--he played the piano with his cock at parties! Oh ... YES he did. I read it in a biography.
Could we GET any further off topic? haha

- have been thinking about preordering a copy and this seems cheapest uk deal. http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails--9780810982895.html
Another good thing about this for UK customers is that it goes to the nearest branch of W.H.Smith, so avoiding the postal chaos that looks set to continue. Their website quotes the release date as 1st Nov, but I assume that's just a misprint.
