| Wow, those DJs on the WERS radio interview are fucking IDIOTS! Interviews like that may be enough to make James want to put down his guitar again! | |

| CATHY built that website! James ASKED her to make one for him. Isn't that awesome? It's so slick and EASY TO READ for feeble old Stooge fans like me. And the pictures section is seperate so you don't have to wait forever for the thing to download. And no annoying music when you click on it. If you have any suggestions to make it even better, send her a PM.
AND ... ROLLING STONE contacted her from the site to get an interview with James. HAHA It's all so exciting.
James obviously caught on to what a gossip queen cb is.

No kidding, one of those two in particular was really irritating!! James was cool though, that was probably his first voice interview (at least that I know of).

| good god these interviewers really suck
just listening to it now, james is typical stooge cool
and great that he was talking about EA and the 1971 boxset, i cant believe he cant remember doing those songs, thats incredible, i think its some of the stooges best stuff, it just sounds like detroit, its so tough and hard, and it has some amazing guitar on it, its amazing he cant remember
edit: still listening to this
james just said they're working on new material? thats great, hope they dont rush it or anything
is the 'real' tour set for 2010? i remember reading june/july 2010, is that right?
another edit: 23mins through
these guys are serious idiots, how much do they sound like a pair of hippies "thank you for sticking to your guns!" poor james having to sit through this

| Guess the cat's out of the bag here about JW's site. That'a a Varvatos jacket he's wearing BTW, remember the Varvatos 2006 fall/winter campaign featuring Iggy? . Yes, there's writing going on, James the music, Iggy the lyrics. I know about one song in particular, and the subject matter is so sad and personal that they may not be able to perform it... New Metroactive print/web interview, link posted today at his site, I think the best yet. James was just here in DC, doing some consulting work. Final practice with CH tomorrow. Steve Mackay will be playing the Sept 5 gig as well. cb http://iggypop.org (major update tomorrow) http://straightjameswilliamson.com | |

I suppose it could be figured what the song is about..or who is the subject matter of the song...at least that is my guess...
