| Got it yesterday. Was in the mail. Incredible stuff. Gold also that What you gonna do is on the cd Can't wait till I get to listen to it on a better stereo. What I'v listened to yet manages to rival quite a lot noise and 30 years before it's time | |

| Mine arrived on friday. Incredible stuff. On cd3 (St. Charles) the vocals are mostly audible, which is great. I love Ron's jam on the final disc. | |

| One thing I've realised having got this box set is that Ron's Jam is actually the end part of the long version of What Ya Gonna Do - which can be found in it's whole form on the 2nd disk of the My Girl Hates My Herion digipak.
Someone's been fucking with Stooges tapes again!

| yes I know that's how it was on the Starfighter 71 and Rarities CD, EA seem to have perpetuated this version, but I'm pretty sure it was originally one track. | |

| thanks for that mc. i was pretty certain that the whole of the 71 had not been issued on vinyl. i have got a copy of the 12'' mentioned in your link but at the moment 90 odd percent of my collection is in storage so sometimes it is hard to verify things. | |

EA version is authentic. Michael Tipton was recorded this tape. I checked with him. "this was a show with a opening instrumental, then one song with steve richards ..." By the way, he will go to the end of the year in Michigan and hopes that he will find everything in good shape, tapes, photos etc. Something will go to the auction, he will inform me.
