I don't know if there's a topic on this forum concerning Iggy's cinema career. So, I create one.
And I start by giving you this piece of news I have found on a french website.
We'll see him in a french movie L'Etoile du jour by Sophie Blondy.
He participated in the shooting before starting the French tour.

Iggy was some months in Barcelona in 1994 working in a movie called "Atolladero". It's a crazy western from the future. He is the villain in the film Smile

Has anyone here actually seen 'The Brave' ?

Johnny Depp starred & directed, and it featured Marlon Brando as a purveyor of snuff films who tries to get the Depp character involved in one. Given the horrific subject matter, I'm not surprised it couldn't find a distributor.

Iggy did the soundtrack. Have'nt heard it, but I believe it's largely acoustic.

I own a copy of the "Brave", the movie sucks but the music is great....
If you have copy of Iggy's Avenue B album..then you know what the music is like.
The song "No Shit" is on the film... Iggy has a small role in the film..He plays a guy who is eating a chicken at the party, but he has no dialogue...He just sits there and eats..

No wonder, the movie script sucks..big time.

Brave soundtrack was recorded during the Avenue B sessions, there's some instrumental versions of the album's material and few other songs that didn't make it on the album.
(There's alternative version of the "Hollywood Affair" song, "No Shit" and instrumental version of "Nazi Girlfriend" - I think they just took out Iggy's vocals during mixing...and some other instrumental songs with Iggy playing his acoustic guitar, etc...)

Marlon Brando does a great job on the film, He plays this sadistic asshole in a wheelchair who enjoys making Snuff films...it was Marlon's last role. I think he died few years later, but still...the movie sucks, It's rather boring, - Depp plays this Indian who lives in extreme poverty and his family really needs the money, so Depp's character get's involved in this disgusting Snuff Film....

The only reasons to see the film are Marlon's last performance on the big screen and to hear Iggy's first ever film music...(but then again, Marlon has done much better movies and you can always listen to Avenue B album, just imagine hearing Avenue B without any vocals)

Maybe someday they will re-release the Avenue B CD with bonus instrumental
songs from the film soundtrack
