Yes you're right Per.  I checked and found some Craig Petty photos from the later 1970 Rainy Daze gig (dog collar & ripped out crotch jeans) with the same fan above the stage.  I don't know who took these photos.

Based on the monitor & damage to the stage covering - as well as Iggy's 'clothing' - I think this is the Allen Theatre, Cleveland OH, Jan.18 1974.

The Creem photos must've been shot around this time. Same NY Dolls oversize bowtie; a fashion choice that always disturbed me way more than the blood, sex n' drugs side of things.

Byron took photos of the Stooges recording in a London studio in 1972 which appear in the Gimme Danger doc.  He also told me that he had photographed Ron in full Nazi outfit at the Imperial War Museum at Ron's request.  I was hoping to see some of them in Gimme Danger but they don't seem to have made it in.

Rare shot of Iggy in 2nd half of 1970 wearing waistcoat and long dog/bondage collar.  I've got a few original photos from this gig and would love to identify exactly which gig it is - has anyone seen photos of Iggy wearing such a waistcoat before? Steve was still with the band.

Actually Nightclubbing I think you're right the jeans he's wearing look more like what he was wearing at Farmington. I guess he got a new pair and ripped out the crotch again!

Look to me as if its definitely post stooges. It looks like it was taken around 1978 or so? He looks around 28 - 30 in the pic to me.

Stooges at Electric Circus in '71 by Van Williams.  Slides sold on Ebay a short while back, if the buyer is on the forum please post hi-quality images!

Are we talking THE Van Williams?

My guess is no. This Van Williams was a photographer for After Dark magazine.
