JW guitar playing links

So I just bought an old accoustic after having given up 10 yrs back and one of the things I would like to master is some of JWs chops. I used to have a Guitar player article from the early 90s which has some tips on playing Search & Destroy as well as Shake Appeal and Penetrration but I doubt I can find it now! Anyway if any of you know of a good web resource that has more than just guitar tabs as I am looking for advise on the picking style as I know that is the key to his style..

Lots of downstroke and when you play a solo bite the strings à la Albert King.
And not too much distortion!
