| I was poking around Amazon and came across this DVD that comes out later in the month. I haven't seen it mentioned. Sacred Triangle: Bowie, Iggy & Lou 1971- 1973 DVD from Chrome Dreams. Anybody know anything about it? http://www.amazon.com/Sacred-Triangle-Bowie-Iggy-1971/dp/B003Z8ZC7K/ref=pd_sim_sbs_m_5Product Description By 1971 David Bowie was branded a one-hit-wonder, Lou Reed was considered washed up following a disastrous debut and Iggy Pop was seen as merely a drug crazed ex-Stooge. But a meeting of minds in that year's closing months was the catalyst for an extraordinary turnaround for these three musical geniuses, resulting in the most dramatic shift of musical style since the dawn of the rock age. This fascinating film investigates the era in which these brilliant personalities worked most closely together. With the story told by those who were there at the time and via rare and classic film footage, plus recently discovered archive, this programme reveals a time of incredible creativity and a sublime chain of events that changed music forever. Includes exclusive contributions from David's ex-wife Angie Bowie; Andy Warhol's Factory assistant Billy Name; MainMan Management vice president, Leee Black Childers; New York scenester Jayne [née Wayne] County and many others from the era. | |

| Just read a review of it in the new Uncut and the review was not particularly favourable-two stars. I gather it's mostly interviews, and there are no extras on the dvd. Think I'm gonna pass on this one. | |

| Well if it has that footage and doesn't have Robert Matheu's "potato stuffed with sausage meat, inside a pink balloon with a hat on it" face popping up, I'll take that as a plus. | |
