LEEDS LAST NIGHT!

Went to Rock The House @ Harewood House in Leeds yesterday, Idlewild, The Horrors, Sunshine Underground, The Young Knives, The Dirty, Sons And Daughters played before IGGY AND THE STOOGES!

mainly went for the stooges, but soem of the bands were alright.

First stooges gig and hopefully not my last. COMPLETELY AMAZING!.

Got onstage for the stage invasion. security went mental. but loaads got on.
Hugged Mike and shook Scotts hand.
before went onstage iggy was sat on the edge of the stage but we couldnt get up so i hugged his legs Haha.

such an amazing gig, best gig / night of my life.

problry after no fun, when they were taking people off stage.

everyone was crowding round all of the band when they'd finished no fun and security were telling everyone to get off.
Iggy was in the mob i couldnt get to him but i really wanted to meet the others, the security guards were all near scott, and told everyone to go away.
but for some reason they went to the other side of the stage after a bit. and i saw this guy put his hand in a space in the drum kit, and scott shook his hand and was being nice to him, so i walked round, and this youngish security guard was in the way he was like NO!

i was like PLEEEEAASSE! he was like errrmmm...*cos most people had gone away*

and i just ran past him and shook scotts hand and said well done and love the band n stuff, he was like aww yeah thanks

seemed real nice, he was so calm n cool, like the stage invasion had never happened.

So Scotts a nice guy?!?! Thats good to hear.

yeahh, i was so surprised though, when the guy let me through.
Mike seemed cool as well was talking to fans around him for a bit it seemed.

also in the gig, everyone was shouting for iggy, and i always think the others dont get enough praise so i was chanting for Ron, scott and mike and iggy turned round and smiled

NEED to see them again now! Haha.
shame they dont tour the UK often, but just glad i saw them so close to home last night

and yeha iggy smiled Haha. we were gesturing him to run about down at the front and he was looking gesturing for us to go onstage we were like WE CAAANNT!!!
n he was pointing n sticking his tounge out n stuff.

it all seemed liek a dream at the time, cos i love the stooges so much, and had been waiting to see them for months n months, n it was a birthday present.

it all seems unreal now when i think about it, i took some good pics, i'll post em up soon.

just rememebrd when everyone was getting offstaage iggy was going..

cos harewood house is like this posh stately home Haha.

and he was like "THE UK SURE HAS A LOT OF ENGERY!"

and later he was like "I WANNA FUCK ALL OF YOU!!! *pointing at some guy* BUT NOT YOU!" Haha poor guy.

he gave you the friendly smile he did that to me 5 or 6 times in michigan shwo thisyear, and he did when he held the micraphone up to me to sing no funnn !! while on stage... hes the nicest guy... didnt get a chance to meet scott, tried but yeah security dude , told me to back off... so i did... i would have went over to ron but almost everyone was off stage.

its crazy he's liek 60, and has the energy etc. of a 20yr old.
and most bands nowadays who are about 20yrs old are just stood their boring n still..

i took a picture of the crowd from when i was onstage too, but it looks like theirs balloons in the air of something, with like the bits of dust n stuff, its weird.

Exactly. Which is why I'm still pushing to get a rockin' bunch of guys together and play as well.

Sounds like you had an unimaginably great time! I am indeed jealous.

You can host the images on imageshack, and use the thumbnail to post the pics, so everyone click on the picture to make them bigger. If they are REALLY that big, it would be best to do that. Thanks.
