link) - "Psychedelic Stooges" six nights at Steve Paul's The Scene, April 7th-13th 1969, as advertised in the March 20th 1969 Village Voice.
Scroll down and it becomes one night only - "Elektra's new group of significance" - and the balance of the week is Lothar and the Hand People.
Didn't see any of this on the gig list. In fact, the gig list doesn't have them playing outside the midwest until September 1969.
However, they were in NYC recording in April 1969.
Could an April show really have gone undocumented?
