Wonderful. That outfit with the knee pads and jazz shoes was what he wore first time I saw him live.
At the time the Stooges seemed like ancient history, so it's strange now to think the distance between 1970 and 1977 was not so far at all. Time must go slower when we're young.

i remember him wearing boots made of what looked like bandages, i think he called them asylum boots, and a nappy when he came out for a Louie Louie encore with a towel on his head.
