Berlin citadel 6/8/2013

Berlin. What can I say, it was the best time ever. Better than the London gig for the atmosphere, sound and the freedom to move about, dance and a mosh pit! I have a few photos which I will upload somewhere and link to once I'm home in the UK.
The Berlin audience were amazing, cool and totally rocked!
I was thinking that I couldn't give a good run down of the set list! But then just remembered that I have a photo of it, so it doesn't matter that my memory is shot. I managed to get on stage for the invasion.... I have the photo from the list stuck stuck on the floor by James !!
Just as well that I'm fairly fit as getting up for the invasion involved gate climbing and dodging the security on the stairs. Absolutely freaking amazing. There will be videos on YouTube which I must see... I met fab people and it was well worth the flight, hotel and cost of getting the ticket posted to me from berlin. Hyped beyond measure.

It was so hot, so sweaty and everyone danced like crazy. The audience didn't want to leave at the end and it wasn't until the equipment was dismantled that we stopped calling for more. Then the heavens opened and even the thunder and lightening just meant that a few hundred people stayed under trees and in the passageways drinking and on a high. 
Fabulous night . Next?!

I also enjoyed it a lot ... it was so hot yesterday evening, the venue was pretty packed since it was their only gig in Germany in 2013 ... the sound was fantastic, the band and Iggy really on fire. I saw them last year here in Berlin on The Greenville Festival which was great, but this show was better. James guitarplaying was really, really strong.

PS: They should really get The Passenger out of the setlist. That's a bit cheesy, isn't it?

Cheesy, yes! Bit I lalala' d along! Looking forward to some browsing when I get home, just blew the data allowance watching a bit of studioguys vid!

It was filmed upside down too- which is why it's a weird shape! pretty chaotic but I love the bit with Mike Watt at 1.54!
