| I was just browsing this great MC5 website http://makemyday.free.fr/mc5live/68.htm and found some info that there's a reel to reel recording of the night of September 22nd when Danny Fields first saw the Stooges, stored at the Bentley Historical Library. It may only be the MC5 gig that's recorded but imagine if the Stooges set was on it as well. Can anyone who lives in Michigan pay the place a visit to see if there's any way to find out?

| Interesting - this would be the earliest known recording of the Stooges - IF it actually exists!
Hope someone can verify this.
