Fanboy nonsense: My dream band would've been the surviving Stooges rhythm section + Carlos Alomar + Adrian Belew (in a really bad mood). Or Turbonegro.
That's what I'm screaming, Euroboy has all of James Williamson's riffs and then some!

I wonder why someone here said that the gig in Holland ended with dum dum boys. I don't think that's true. I think both the Holland and the Icelandic show were about 1 hour and 5 minutes and ended with Neighborhood threat

Just got back from Iceland. Fantastic gig from Iggy, the band sounded great (I too was a little alarmed by the youtube videos from Holland). Iggy was his usual Iggy self, lots of energy and fun. My friend should upload some clips to youtube soon and one is pretty funny with mic stand throwing gone wrong, will post a link when it's up.
I have a couple of photo's , can find on my facebook public album "lots of IGGY" set=a.1021955541149899.1073741889.100000063892047&type=3
and here are a few ...

I went to two days of the festival, the first day was the Iggy one an public enemy. The audience was mad for Iggy and it was the most busy day, the 2nd day was 1/3 of the amount of people there, didn't go to last day. The venue was a big old airplane hanger. The sound was great.

I've heard a rumour he will be playing Rebellion in Blackpool next year. I hope it's true, I love that festival.

This year would be even better! But a friend of mine spoke to Jos, and he said as far as he is aware, no UK gigs -sad face!

Sad face indeed. Seems a little odd that he's got this band of UK musicians, yet isn't playing any UK shows... not one...

Great photos Jacqui! Thanks for sharing.
It's nice to see the YouTube footage too, surprised how much I've missed Iggy doing his solo numbers. Great stuff. The songs from The Idiot seem to suit the older Iggy really well. Bowie would be proud of the way he makes them sound in 2015, seems age suits them, at least imho watching on the computer.

We were at the Luik gig yesterday. And indeed, the band is live much more powerfull than youtube suggests. We weren't in front row(s) this time, my wife is pregnant for 4 months now, so we didn't want to risk anything.
Iggy probably could hardly wait, so he started almost 10 minutes before schedule.
Iggy had a great voice, better than in the last years. The band played the songs as much as possible the way it is on record (which I haven't heard at any other Iggy gig in the past, well not this extreem anyway). The setlist was the same, only after Neighbourhood threat a new song (new in teh set that is of course) was added, down on the street. The first song from Funhouse.
No Fun I Wanna Be Your Dog The Passenger Lust for Life Skull Ring Sweet Sixteen 5'1" 1969 Sister Midnight Real Wild Child Nightclubbing Some Weird Sin Mass Production
Encore: I'm Bored Funtime Neighborhood Threat Down on the street

Well, the video is removed and the guy who uploaded is is no longer on youtube, so maybe your wish came true.

here's the setlist from the Liegi gig..nice show, very weird to listen songs like mass production live..definitely i prefer the stooges setlist.. no stage invasion..and for 2 song iggy sang sitting..incredible! after this of course he had destroyed the chair and very nice festival..in contrast with Liegi..
