| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7dKnF0coxQHello everybody! As a new member of the forum/board/etc. I decided to post this rare, short clip which I saw some time ago It shows the Stooges performing '1970' at some hippie or Hare Krishna (as sources say) festival in Michigan. Dave Alexander had some problems with his amp, as you can hear him speaking in the last 2 seconds of the vid. And of course, Iggy is freaked out (as I understood the presenter's context) Generally, amazing! | |

| It sounds like Goose Lake. A show ladened with portent, Dave Alexander on the way out, Iggy on the way down... | |

| yup, dave didn't have trouble with amp, ... he was too drunk to play ! so they went on without bass... which is why it sounds so empty. | |

| It's so F*funny and also abit sad: noticed? When Iggy did a playback in a studio he mostly makes the act completely ridiculous. By NOT singing in the mic. Or by just staring at the people or the camera on the moment where you can hear him sing...hahahaha as far as i know he's the only singer doin this anti-playback act...was probably totally bored with the situation.
Anyway..thanks for posting al the links! Love it! especially the rare stuff. |

Why couldn't they called it a bad show and moved on? *sigh* There was more at hand, I take it. | |
