| Dear Heavy Liquid and everyone, Site looks way cool. REally enjoying checking it out. I thought you would like this new site . My new site, in fact. A couple of you might know my work: I wrote the sleevenotes for the recent Fun House reissue, and the recent Where THe Faces SHine set, plus a few other Iggy things. My day job for many years was editor of MOJO magazine, and back in 1996 or so I wrote the mag's first Iggy feature. ANd I put the guy, nude, on the cover and got lots of complaints from book stores all across the USA. Over the last couple of years, however, I've been spending just about every moment of my life writing about Mr James Osterberg. It's been a blast, and my book, Open Up and Bleed, is out in the UK now, and in the States on, I think, April 10. I've assembled a website for anyone who wants to know more. If you do ever read the book, you'll find the site has loads of background info, plus longer Q&As with some of the people interviewed in the book, from people who lived on the trailer park with Iggy, through to James Williamson. Plus there are photos of some of the interviewees. I only finished putting the site together this afternoon. It's a bit rough, but if you're an Iggy freak you should enjoy wandering around its nooks and crannies. There's an email link on the opening page, so you can send me all yer insults and suggestions. (Cos it's made via iWeb, 'add comments' isn't working as yet on the blog sections). That's it. This place looks great and I will drop in again, but in the meantime if you need more Iggy please go to www.trynka.netbest Paul T | |

| Cool website. I will hopefully get your book when it gets released where I am. Thanks for putting the link to the forum on your site, too. | |

| Hi Paul, bought you book and I just finished it yesterday, read it all in two days, (and nights) it's an excellent read ! I own most of the Mojo issues you edited, since then, I only buy the mag when the main features speaks to me. It's still good, but I miss the Ramones die cut cover, or Igs nude and rude, those kind of things... | |

| Thanks guys. When you look thru the site you'll find lots of interesting (I hope) snippets, including an interview with James Williamson, the contract for the last Michigan Palace, show plus lots of later stuff. I do hope you all enjoy the book if you get around to it - Iggy's is an epic story, I hope I've done it justice. But the book is also about the people around him, who made him what he is, like Ron, James W, Bowie, Danny Fields...
Ha, Seventeen, I was debating whether to put that Ramones ripped cover on my ABout page. You wouldn't believe how much shit I took from management when we did it. I was lucky, we could get away with whatever we wanted, as long as the sales kept going up... | |

| Ha, I've been a magazine editor myself, for 5 years, so I know how it is, these things succeeds despite the big guns, not with them ! And then they claim all the success hahaha That book is way better than the other cash in published about two years ago by the way, to anyone reading this who got burn by the other one (which I think was called Gimme Danger), give this one a shot ! I wish it had been double lenght thought | |

| Cool man. I haven't got your book yet (low on cash) but its on my Amazon wishlist! Prioritized! I remember that issue of Mojo.. the one with the Malanga nude pic on the cover right? Didn't you have to cover up the cock with a scratch-off panel or something? yeah, I remember.. Good work! :p | |

| Damn. I've gone through most of the site and it's excellent. I'll have to read it again once I've read the book. | |
