| Since yesterday's hair 'fight' on this forum I guess it's time to;
* confirm the importance of Stooges Hair! * finally found the answer why Iggy had curls for a short (Nico) period * discuss together why Ron's hair is odd - now * start a 'best Stooges hair' poll * let loose your Stooges hair ideas - or photoshopped hairdo's and don't s * have fun...? |

| Hmmm...interesting thread.
Iggy was like Scott Weiland in the fact that you never knew just what look you'd get. Maybe not as extreme, but a similar kinda deal. I like the 60's look myself.
Dave? That's beautiful hair, even on a woman. No wonder the ladies dig him.
Ron & Scott- typical "school punk" look of the 60's. I grew up with kids like that. Out of the two, Scott has better hair. Or at least he did back in the day. Can't tell now, because of the baseball cap...
James- KEITH RICHARDS.
Mike- just a regular dude. Nothing special to report.

| yeah thnx Nadja for the good tip..to make this thread think it could get interesting. about Dave now I liked his hair when he had it the utmost long! that was gorgeous!!...can't find the photo any more damn... here's a photo with short hair there is also one with even shorter hair on Paul T. his site (the photo's can't be copied) so here is the link : http://www.trynka.net/Site/Open_Up_Blog/918A786F-2332-4B7B-8FE2-9579BDB95BAF.htmlthough i think also dave dyed his hair sometimes darker than it bleached out again..etc..with Henna! the ultimate Hippie colouring hahaha...brrrr Loose! fun to read you recognize the hairstyles!! I always thought that Ron was looking for crazy not seen styles..read something about bangs..the length of them and the length of the hair..was very precise claimed by certain groups and Ron ánd Scotty were the ones who were wearing it toooo long..with too long bangs..so that was read to be extremely provocative. Do you have more precise info about these lengths and styles? |

Do you have more precise info about these lengths and styles? Actually Ron & Scott's hair styles were really common back in the late 60's and early 70's. The mellower stoners looked like Dave, Ron or a young Iggy a bit, and the "I'm gonna kick your fucking ass!" kids looked more like Scott. That's all I've got to add. I don't know shit about hair styles. Now back in 1973, Iggy looked like the kid that a kid like Scott would beat up.

| It would have been a real kick to see all 4 original Stooges onstage now. I mean, Mike is doing a fantastic job, but.... Whoops, drifting off-topic. Sorry. Back to the mane event. | |

| Steve was just being Steve. No "image" to worry about, just a modern looking (but not "hippie" looking) musician with a flair for...well, flair! He was an unsung hero himself. I'm glad he's still with the band! | |

| Zeke? That wasn't me. Hell, I don't even know what he looks like! What I meant about Steve is that he looked a bit more conservative for the times than the rest of the guys. But he was still cool. | |

| Good thread, offbeat i guess is the word, lol,
um as far as hair styles go....um i liked the curly iggy one ca. 1968, and i like his brown hair in the 90s, what its like now but brown, DID NOT like whatever happened to his head during promotion for instict i think it was, w/ steve jones, that crazy (i think tryna bring back 1974 unwashed) look
i dunno u cant really comment on the stooges hair, well wen the were tryna make an impression in the later days, they were all done up, but like the early stooges wouldntve cared that much, i dunno maybe im wrong, but they dont strike me as being vain, plus it was the 60s no-one washed their hair, lol
