http://blog.mojo4music.com/honours2008/2008/03/iggy_pop_and_alice_cooper_remi.shtml

saw this, mojo honours list, its weird if you put those two together say in the 80s, you'd probly have them syain in there heads ''god, i wish i was him'' iggy wanting money and fame, and alice wanting 'credible' music

PostSubject: Re: When Iggy Met Alice And When They Met Brian   When Iggy Met Alice And When They Met Brian Icon_minitimeSat May 03, 2008 2:09 pm

That was really intresting... HSJW... Thanks... I love Alice... Iggy and Alice is kinda alike in many ways... starting out Psychedelic and turning into a completly diffrent and new rock sound, for example 1971's - 'Love It To Death' and 1970's - 'Funhouse'. I think those two records where something completly different at the time, and no one had made anything similar before... and how they stuck with the music throught the seventies and in the eigthies they both turned a little new wave, for example 'Zombie Birdhouse', or 'Blah blah blah' and Alice's 'Special Forces'... And in the early 2000's they both tried to be a little up to date and sound a little more like metal, like alice's 'Brutal Planet' and Iggy's 'Beat´em up'... And how they both today are turning a little bit back to their sixties and seventies sound, with alice's 'Dirty Diamonds' and Iggy and the Stooges' 'The Weirdness'...

Btw have anyone heard Iggy's song Shocker? It sounds so extremely like Alice from the Eigthies or something! Smile

No,Bon Jovi never were SO good. :-P

"Love Transfusion" was mostly written by Alice Cooper and Desmond Child and Iggy sounds like he wanted to sing like Alice.

In my opinion it's a nice song but not something special.Average!

Off Topic maybe but this thread made me think of that radio ad for a Stooges show that went something like this:
"First there was David (cue music), then there was Alice (cue music), blah blah blah and now the Stooges (cue music)"
Anybody know what I mean? I think it is on the Revenge box.
Always thought to myself they got the order wrong, making the Stooges a follow-up of those two just doesn`t sound right.
Anyway, what were the three songs played in that ad respectivly?
