| I wanna ask if does anybody know -> I've heard that James was supposed to produce Dead Boys' 'We Cum For Your Children' album. But things turned differently and Felix Pappalardi produced that lp. It is said that if James had produced Dead Boys' record, it would have been a lot better result than Pappalardis. Did Dead Boys know James personally or through other people (like Johnny Thunders, who was friend of him)? I think that one of the reasons that James didn't produce their album was..because he was busy with Iggy at the time..(New Values).. | |

| They probably just wanted him to produce it as they were big Raw Power fans. | |

| I worked for the Dead Boys in '81, and they had nothing good to say about Felix. The bass player was angry because he used Guild, and Felix made him get a better bridge & redo the guitar. They used to mock him out for wearing polyester. I missed meeting him, he came to see them at the hotel, but I was at another gig. I did get to meet John Waters because of them tho. Yes, they loved Raw Power & Iggy was like a god, I've posted elsewhere here about the night he came to see them. I think Felix did a decent job & was a great producer for Cream & Mountain. Yeah, he slicked them up some, but that ain't always bad. And his Cream & Mountain songs are pretty damn good too. | |

| Cheetah has been really vocal about how agonizing it was recording that album. They wanted to record it live, but Felix made them turn the LP into a "studio" record. | |
