Sounds OK, more "Cold Metal" than "Raw Power" but thats due to the way Iggy sings on this version. Ron has earned even more of my respect (I thought I couldn't respect him anymore than I already do) for agreeing to play it. Very Happy

The chorus is fucked up ! He just repeats "Raw power baby" what's that ?? It sounds like it's on a loop.

Hate to say I told you so Smile It was even weirder in Cannes when I did not expect him to play it at all. Wish I could have heard it more than once this summer king

Sounds like Ron doing his own thing alright. Personally I'm not too enamoured of the original anyway, so it's not disappointing or anything, but, yeah, it's...different. Laughing

The best Raw Power version to me is the one they did on the Brick by Brick tour 1990/1991 with Whitey.

Thats a GREAT version Gui !

I like the 93' American Caesar tour version (with Schermerhorn) best. But the 91 Brick tour is my 2nd fav. ! (Whitey's Guitar really rips on that tour!)

Also love the 93 versions of Louie Louie ! The BEST EVER !

Back in 2004, backsatge at the Zenith of Paris I asked Scott why wouldn't they end up their gigs with Louie Louie. Any version of Louie would have been better than Double Dog (it was always played at the time) and he said yeah, why not. They never did tho. It makes sense not to do any cover at all tho...

Have a nice day Brooks.

I like what they did with Raw Power too, imagine
if they rework some more 'oldies' into future sets ?

Sounds good, or at least as good as the audio was on that vid.
Obviously gonna sound different.
I even think it sounds slower, too.
