Favourite Iggy/Stooges Songs??

What are your favourite songs?

My 3 favourites are Johanna, I got a Right, and Louie Louie on metallic K.O.

Plenty of them right there. But if to mention just 3, then the list goes to: I Got A Right, Gimme Some Skin and Open Up & Bleed (especially live)

Changes daily. Might as well just cut n' paste the entire 69-74 canon. Currently:

1. See Me Dancing (aka BTM or NM). Totally unhinged and the build-up to the gtr solo is just insane. Can't wait for the '71 box set to hear a few more (hopefully complete and injury-free) versions. Should've been on Raw Power.

2. 'You Don't Want My Name' - Also should've been on Raw Power.

3. 'Penetration' - Actually made it on to Raw Power.

Everything off that first Stooges album, the greatest intoxicant I know!

'Little Doll' maybe JUST about makes it as my no. 1, but it's virtually impossible to choose.

wish there was an extended version of 'Little Doll' available somewhere...that track should never stop

I really should hear the versions on the forthcoming 1971-box set before answering this, but at this very moment my favorites are:

1. "1969" - I just can't get enough of Ron's wah wah -guitar.

2. "Little Doll" - Dave's intro is perfect, just like everything following it.

3. "Loose" - As a set opener, it doesn't get much better than this.

I wanna say all but my 3 favorites songs are:

1 - "Raw Power" - Yes Raw Power can destroyed a man.

2 - "Cock In My Pocket" - Love the solo at 2:26 too powerfull.

3 - "No fun (full version)

Just 3?

Erm, currently probably Fun House, Search and Destroy and Down on the Street.

All of them seems more appopriate though.

You know i like all of those but 5' 1'' always cracks me up , same with dog food and loco mosquito.

Though I have,n't heard most of the unreleased, unofficial stuff, I can't decide which songs I prefer. I'd say Down On The Street, but like other people, it changes. If I think of, let's say, TV Eye, with that fabulous break, We Will Fall comes to my mind, but then it's Search & Destroy...

Since Fun House - the album - is so coherent, can we say that it's only one very long song ? It would help.

"Ann" is pretty close. Personally though I love everything off of the first two albums so much its beyond belief.

There are so many more I could have chosen, and probably would choose on another day.

For me all my favourite Stooges stuff is from the first two Stooges albums. I can't pick any individual favourite tracks, so I just include them all. That's all I meant! I didn't mean I was changing the thread, if that's what you thought.
And I'm not well-acquainted with Iggy solo, sorry
