| Interesting - restored remixed remastered... I'm really looking forward to this.
However, I hope it's not been too heavily remixed, but if it has well we shall always the original...

not after what we thought would be a radically different raw power reissue. I'm not trying to be a smart-arse, but why would you expect a remastered Bowie mix to be "radically different" from the Bowie mix as heard on vinyl? by radically different i meant that the expectations for this judging by the comments on this board were that the rhythm section would get an improved sound. i think this was just down to confusion of the meaning of remaster as opposed to re-mix. | |

| So the new mix has been remastered already? I'm a bit nervous about this release. I've grown to love the boxy / strung out sound of the original issue (which would have needed a remaster) and I'd have liked to hear the original, unreleased mixes. Here's hoping they didn't make it sound too glossy. But I'm giving JW the benefit of the doubt here, his approach to things has been great so far. Including the Bowie 4 track demos from around this time would have been a bit of a stretch for this Iggy / Williamson release, no? | |
