hard to pick favourites really, but if I had to pick just one it would be -

Current fave is a new one called "We're just corporate whores now who refuse to play Detroit and because Thurston wasn't available we've agreed to smother the Raw Power stuff in Bud-Lite advertisment sax-playing instead of annoying honky-tonk piano."

It's not a Stooges song but I always liked "You can't Always Get What you Want (But You Get What You Need)" by the Stones

That's like asking which is my favorite dog of all the ones I've had over the last 35 years: I love and loved 'em all in their own time.
My standard professional answer when asked this by artists is "the next one you're going to write" but this case, yeah I'm looking forward to it bigtime, as they were such wondrous collaborators. But dedicated afficianados on this forum deserve a real answer, so my guaranteed mood elevators/introspecdtive favorites are:

But those are just personal highlights from each year! When push comes to shove I'd go with "I Wanna Be Your Dog", sure it's been covered a ridiculous number of times and is now on stupid classic rock compilation albums but it's still just as powerful as it ever was (and has the best riff on the planet) - let's hope Rhino find the full length version of that one!

Sure they play them live but they also play "Five Foot One" and it sure as hell isn't a Stooges song. They were never played originally by The Stooges and they weren't written by The Stooges and they weren't demoed by The Stooges. They were on "Kill City", an album by Iggy Pop and James Williamson. Every week I have a different favourite Stooges song. Right now it's "Johanna"... so fucking amazing, even to play on guitar

Like Nadja, I love Little Doll, it's my favorite song on the first album. Other favorites are Raw Power, the whole Fun House album, I Got A Right, 1969, Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell....just about anything they did before they brought in the piano and the 73-74 songs.

All of the Fun House album (except L.A. Blues, which was probably great live, but the album version doesn't really work for me,) with 1969, I Wanna Be Your Dog & No Fun off the 1st album added. KILLER!!!!!
