The Complete First Album Sessions?

I've been listening to the Complete Funhouse Sessions today and I had a thought about the studio tapes for the first album. Wouldn't it be great if they were one day released as a box set in the same way?

But maybe they don't exist anymore...?

They should come out with a live album from 1969.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought that. The Funhouse Sessions just blew me away.

Yeah, listening to the Complete FunHouse is total immersion. Not for everyday, but pretty fucking far out when the time is right.

I srtill prefer the first album though, a complete version of those sessions would be AMAZING. Are the tapes sitting in a box somewhere on a dusty shelf or were they erased long ago? Who would know?

well Rhino released some new outtakes last year with the deluxe edition so...I guess they have to be somewhere

Yeh, me too. Considering the amount of low-grade fuzzy noise we buy from the Raw Power era, i think we would listen to anything, no matter how inferior!
