| Hi everyone, I am new to this forum but have been reading through some topics for quite some time now. I am a huge fan of the Stooges, mostly their 1972-74 period but I also love the other stuff as well. My first inquiry has to do with the July 1973 gigs at Max's Kansas City. I have the Heavy Liquid comp with the July 30th gig but I have found out that was the opening show for a 4-night residency at Max's. The show I am most interested in finding out about is the second night, the night where Iggy fell onto the glass and cut himself. I'm sure\ you get a whole mess of people asking about this particular gig, so sorry if I am just asking something that everyone asks. Are there any documentations of this show, such as pictures, audio, etc?? I have read numerous articles on it and also have the audiobook for "Open Up and Bleed", but I would just like to know if there was anything that leaked from that particular gig? Any and all insight on this topic would be immensely appreciated!
Thanks a ton -Scott | |

| It would be good if anyone could PLEASE get to me on this.... I am relatively new to the Stooges's music, so finding any new info on anything would go a long way for me. | |

Thanks a lot man! I think I may have seen this somewhere, but it is still a badass picture. I wonder if there were any taken at the actual show??

| Yes there are some from the show, but I can't find them right now. I'm sure someone else here can put them up. | |

Yeah, I thought there were more as well, I couldn't remember though. If you google "Iggy Pop Bleedinjg" all you get are the pics from the solo Iggy gig at Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco...

| hi reliable_foe,
What do you want to know? I was there.
I did not take photos at the gig that night but I have a clear recollection of it.

Hello, sorry for the delay. I was just curious about the circumstances/reaction of Iggy's accident. I was also looking to see if anyone had any recorded documentation (i.e. photos (which I already received, thanks everyone!), video (I doubt this would exist though) or video). What was it like??
