very cool ! dose anyone know of iggy ever wearing a big bowtie on stage, i have some pictures from 74(january) from an ohio show, hes wearing a bow tie ! it looks cool ! its not linked to the creem shot, its onstage pixcture...

yeh it couldnt look more like jagger circa 72, one of his best periods, and though you'd hardly catch jagger shirtless til near the end of a gig, sweat/heat etc, i'm willing to bet its him, look at the mouth, also mc i dont believe ive ever seen iggy hold a microphone like that, he grasps it with his full hand - amean ive never noticed any difference i guess but i dont think ive seen him do that, but um yeh i'd put a bet that thats jagger


also JLTS iggy's worn many weird and wonderful things during the stooges' 67 - 74 rotations, i wonder if its possible to list them, leotards, tutus, cut up jeans, no shirt (important one, not what you wear, its what you dont that counts!) anyway, yeh bowties apparently, lol, freaky guy, though a trailblazer lol

I'm not convinced that last pic that mc posted is Iggy.
The angle may be deceiving though, but still don't think it's him.

Photographed backstage at a BOC show in about 1973. Iggy and the Dictators opened for BOC.
Handsome Dick Manitoba with the afro.

This is what he said:
When I was 19 years old I lived in a house in Dix Hills NY with some
guys from a band called The Stalk Forrest Group which had been Soft
White Underbelly and changed their name to Blue Oyster Cult when they
signed with Columbia Records. I was living with them when they were
recording their first album. As they were my friends, I went to see
them a year or two later when they were performing in Maryland at a
Community College. They were headlining and the show was opened by a
group called, "The Dictators" because BOCs manager, Sandy Pearlman was
also the manager of the Dictators. Iggy was the second act on the bill.
He was going by Iggy Pop at that time, having disbanded The Stooges.
Iggy's band included James Williamson on guitar and I don't remember
the rhythm section. These photos were taken in the locker room for the
community college gym. If I remember correctly, Albert and Iggy were
talking about the guys in Black Sabbath and how all the British Rock
guys had attitudes.
