I believe that photo was taken at Max's Kansas City. I see Micky Ruskin, the owner on the left.

Does anyone know or have Pics when Iggy was peforming at the Academy of Music when opening for Blue Oyster Cult & KISS ?

The Academy bill was BOC, Iggy and the Stooges, Teenage Lust, and Kiss. I was there, James Williamson used my Firebird guitar as a backup.

I didn't know who the hell was who on the debut album cover to begin with, apart from Iggy. I thought Dave Alexander was the good-looking dark-haired one for a long time

Same with me ! Except I didn't find him that good-looking.

True, Gene's hair caught fire, It was the first KISS show in a big venue.

To be honest, I didnt know what to make of KISS.

No, you misunderstand me.

The article that goes with the pic, along with me hearing "Down On The Street" by the Fuzztones, that's what got me interested.

Well If anyone Have Iggy at the Acamedy (Please Show)

I Found Pictures when KISS Was Peforming at the Acamedy
& Paul wasn't Starchild yet

There was a video clip on YouTube from the Academy of Music show .The footage belongs to Ivan Kral of Patti Smith fame. He has had the footage removed. It shows Pop and James Williamson. James is playing my Firebird. Maybe someone will put it back up.
