| I was there yesterday yes, it was good to see Iggy. The room was so overcrowded tho, many guys could'nt make it and have their CD signed.
Iggy looked good, funny, relaxed and mentionned some recording with Slash (ex Guns & Roses) he did earlier in May...

| "Nothing really new, there will be a Stooges album with James Williamson , who's now retired from sony corporation, on guitar replacing the late Ron Ashton."YEAH! "There will be no future collaboration with Bowie ...and soon."NOOOO! Opinion on The Weirdness. No need Steve Albini ! The album on the other hand does not reflect the true power of the Stooges, which is a shame because obviously a LOT of work was put into the making of the album and the Asheton brothers' playing is as great as ever. The main problem I think lies with the production/the choice of producer and the mix. It's all just loud, but never hard, tough or aggressive. It's too clean, too perfect. Check "Telluric Chaos" (Live in Tokyo 2004) for the true Stooges sound! So please just find a really good producer like Don Gallucci (may be him?) I'll pray. I also like the Bowie's mix.. | |

NOOOO! Well, actually we know what James had thought of Bowie's involvement in Raw Power...and in Iggy's Soldier as well...so I am not sure if he would like to cooperate with David again... | |
