- Well the front pic was one hurdle, then recently we got the titles, and putting this style of box together is tricky, also the pressing plant had to give us the grids, YOU CANT DO ANY REAL ARTWORK UNTIL THESE HAVE BEEN CAST IN STONE, the Cd labels were done a while back as the mock up cover. This and other unseen factors tend to hiccup/hold up projects, or someone last minute gives you better pics. Nitebobs pic of Iggy I THINK IS WORTH THE BOX ALONE
Wow, how nice of you to say that. I am trying to find the negs of the pic you are speaking of. there are about 10 more photos, but that is one of the best. Nitebob

| I could see Rhino putting out Uganos on CD. Either as a stand-alone limited edition CD, or - if they are smart - wrapping it up in some kind of deluxe Funhouse collectors package w/ the Funhouse box set & extended Funhouse album. This would give them an excuse to re-release the box (after promising not to) and squeeze yet more $$$ out of boneheads like myself.
Not sure about the vinyl. I remember the first CD release of 'Metallic KO' (back when digital was considered superior to analog) being described by one critic as 'the worst misuse of technology in history'.
Sorry that Easy Action lost out on Uganos, but there's still the '73 Atlanta show floating around, no?

| Well, the Ungano's tape has been bought by Rhino. At the time of sale there were no specific plans in place. The guy who sold it (who I've known for 30 some odd years) said he'd try and find out their current plans. If the quality is there it would be a perfect Rhino Handmade release. Personally I'd take vinyl or CD but would not want to see a download only situation (not that that scenario has been mentioned). | |

| Wow that picture's crystal clear now. It looks like Iggy's hands are coming out the screen, great cover!
How did you come up with the song titles ie "Dead Body"? - I mean I know Iggy mentions Over My Dead Body before the song but he also introduces one song as Black Like Me which you haven't used.
Did you check with any of the band or anyone else?

| Nuthin to do with me, not my domain, i just do. The girl that ran the fan club apparently gave the titles Ask easy action GLAD YOU LIKE THE PURPLEY (liliac) PUKE COVER, great set of photos in the booklet, now they look black n white but i treated them in colour so they look a lot richer, and the colour poloroids esp NiteBobs pic ARE WORTH IT THEMSELVES | |

| Hurrah get the bunting out it should be soon, Idiot artist (me) had made the front cover ever so slightly oversided (wasnt explained fully from manufacturer). The obi strip had to be redone as they never gave a GRID SIZE - so pissed off i guestimated it (WRONG) But i believe everything's on course so it should be soon. just getting my Bolan cd thru the post today - god i hate wited to see the printed/pressed product | |

| Well it's a great overall package. Sadly the staples are showing on mine and the polaroids are a bit of a pain to get out. But the book style is great and the photos are amazing. I just wish there was some more of the black and white photos shown on the cover as I've seen others from the same photoshoot but not in good quality. Anyway well done! Definatly worth the wait. | |

| the packaging is great, granted there are some annoying things like the fragility of it, because of the staples and the heaviness of the discs etc
but its really great and the music and packaging are worth the wait
thanks | |

| Yes the front cover is ace, the best shot from that photoshoot that I've seen. Aren't these Peter Hujar photos owned by Danny Fields? Why was it so difficult to get? | |

| It just was, originally used a paper cutting (for pre sales), then they couldnt find that image, and supplied a different outake (which looked naff - sounds stupid but it didnt feel like the stooges), then they eventually got us the image - (original asking fee was steep - to me ), but inbetween this going on, if they couldnt actually supply or the price was too high, i suggested using the live shot as seen on this site. Its not like nipping down to the shops and saying I'll have two of that etc, theres lots of comings and goings - Now then theres the James Williamson release, its coming on nicely....... watch this space | |
