Classic Rock magazine - September 2009

I haven't been able to buy it, but I've just seen Classic Rock - Special Collector's Edition from this month. There's an article on pages 43-81 called 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time - reviewed by 100 greatest living guitarists. The whole 69th page is dedicated to Ron Asheton [hell yeah!] - reviewed by Kim Thayil of Soundgarden. Ron's photo looks pretty decent. IMHO, it was very gentle of the magazine to pay such a tribute towards Ron.

No James on the list though Smile

Ron was 29 on another list...still to low in my opinion.

In Classic Rock magazine, there's no list. I think it's good cuz true musicians don't compare to each other. But it was very nice to read what e.g. James Hetfield thought of Tony Iommi, Billy Gibbons of BB King, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a copy of this after all. Did anyone else? Just wondering...if anyone did and might be able to scan it or something?
