Well last night was fucking great, my ears are still ringing! I finally understand what Suicide are all about. I've never been able to get into their albums but at internal organ liquifying volume they are fuckin' amazing - Ghoooost Riiiideeer!
So on to the Stooges, what a super great show. Iggy seemed to be loving it, and dove in the crowd about 10 times. His voice was real good especially on the high notes. First they did all of Raw Power, starting with Raw Power itself - The crowd surged instantly, totally different from the stunned paralysis that Suicide seemed to induce (nothing wrong with that though).
For me the set reached a peak when they did I Got A Right, Dog and 1970 all in a row. The energy levels were amazing! If I had a pick a contender for best track of the night it would have to be Dog, the crowd went fucking nuts on this one. They rounded things off with Open Up and Bleed, Johanna and some Kill City stuff, a great night was had by all!

Wait wait, wait.... WAIT ! Suicide was the opening act ? For the Stooges ? Fuck ! Why do I always see shity unknown bands opening for the Stooges ?

Yup! I was thinking of skipping them but am damn glad I didn't. There were several people behind me who just sat there during the Suicide gig with their hands over their ears it was quite funny. Suicide certainly beat the Stooges on volume levels!

Sound like you had a real cool time mc! Hope the 2'nd show will be just as good, maybe even with a different set-list? Thanks a lot for these pictures. Although they make me a bit sad, cause that I would love to be in that crowd and sing along to Dog! "No fun to be alone, in love... with nobody else"

I wasn't at that show. But looking at the videos, it seems always great. Nevertheless, Iggy's pants come down really too low.
