Years ago (I guess mid-late 90's) Iggy did an interview on an Australian radio show (station JJJ) called 'Retro-perspective', which had famous people playing their 'top 5' songs. I can't remember the fifth song, but I'm almost positive Waiting For The Man, Walk The Line, My Favorite Things (by Coltrane) and that Frank Sinatra song which forever will be known by its Simpsons parody ('When I was seventeen, I drank a very good beer ...') were among them. The fifth may have been something like the Kinks.

this is great. I love seeing spoken footage of him from the 90's - he always seems coked up, whether he is or isn't. Lip syncing badly to his own song. They say that life imitates art - interesting.

Yes Iggy has said this countless times, this just seems a bit of a waste of a thread when it could have been said here:
Eh, why bother with that. When threads get that big, everything gets lost. It's not like this forum doesn't have it's share of pointless threads anyways!

He modeled the lyrics off of Cash's "I Walk The Line?" Cool
I bought a video of that Dutch interview and posted the same statement on an old Iggy/Stooge message board about 10 years ago. Ron Ashton came on there and called me a liar. Other people backed me up that also saw that interview. I told Ashton I only posted what I saw on the tape and he said, "Iggy lies about everything." Go figure.
