Yeah. I'm just gutted they never got to make that Album in 71, it sounds like it was so close to happening. Could've been my favorite of all the Stooges albums I think.

you know what? I was thinking the same thing. I'm really glad that easy action released "you don't want my name.." box set but at the same time I'm wondering how great it would've sounded if the stooges had recorded this material. Fresh rag, you don't want my name, dead body etc. they're all great tunes. I guess elektra is to blame...

as much as i agree with you guys about them recording a '71 album; the idea of a song called 1971 sounds really lame to me haha.
