| Finally, something (almost) definite about new material. Interesting that they aren't really considering an album at this point. That's a good idea - just issue a few good tracks - perhaps as high quality downloads? - and see how they go down. Cheers, R | |

| six tracks on three 7" singles over 12 months would be cool, each b side being an old fav that wasn't recorded at the time (as long as Rhino Handmade are not involved!) | |

| The Weirdness is not really bad, actually. It's by far better than the 1st LP! But it came after the powerful Raw Power, so, obviously, people were a little bit disappointed. But I want The Stooges to record a 5th LP, for sure! A new Stooges record with James Williamson would be really good news. Why not to record again those "lost tunes" originally written during the Raw Power era? This idea sounds great to me And we would be sure that's a killer record to come! | |

You should never be allowed to have an opinion on music ever again...seriously. Mexican Guy = 1969 FTW!

| Hey, I'm serious! The first LP is not so good, to my mind. And The Weirdness is not so bad, for those elderly people | |

There are some great tunes on The Weirdness, really. "We Will Fall" is by far the worst Stooges track! "Ann" sounds like a Doors song, but much weaker. I'm much more into Fun House and Raw Power. The Stooges is just overrated to me, just like Nirvana's Bleach

| I think the weirdness would sound 100x better if the songs were the instrumental (because these texts are bad), and another MIX (where the fuck is the bass line?)

| It's one thing to like The Weirdness, but to declare it far better than the debut is beyond idiotic. The full length version of "Ann" is more powerful than any Doors song. I hated "We Will Fall" when I first heard but I've come to appreciate it as a great proto-goth song with a hypnotic spooky quality. There are no great songs on The Weirdness. There are a few decent ones but they are poorly produced and poorly realized. It's full of embarrassing crap like "Greedy Awful People" and "Passing Cloud". It's no better than your average Iggy Pop solo album, which isn't saying much. | |

| Well said sizeable bulge. Although The Weirdness isn't totally terrible by any means.
Incidentaly, I never thought of describing 'We Will Fall' as proto-goth before. ..

| You could also just calm down, couldn't you? Can I appreciate a record that you obviously don't like, and conversely? | |
