| Anyone have this cd? I just bought it for 99 cents on Ebay. New, no less. Was it money well spent? | |

Was it money well spent? Listened thru when I bought it years ago. Not since. So...

| I got that and its not entirely clear how much is Ron. I think he is mostly playing on some live tunes under the "Flunkie" section. Still its ok Detroit/A2 rock , and has a version of the Mike Davis tune "Rock the Cradle".
The Dark Carnival CD "The Last Great Ride" on Sympathy for the Record Industry is one of the better post Stooges Asheton recordings and Don Fleming managed to get a decent vocal performance out of Niagara.

| I got the disc, and it isn't bad. Not a mindblower like the Stooges, but not bad nonetheless. Well worth the dollar. | |

Ron is on all of the live set, but only on maybe 4 of the studio tracks- Down On The Street, obviously... Most of the lead guitar on the studio tracks was a guy from Ypsilanti (Craig something??) who has apparently disappeared since then. Truth be told, there is some good guitar on the record but overall it's pretty lame.
