Thanks Dennis!

And here's a quick link direct to Ken's interview which is exactly what appears in the Jimmy Recca booklet that accompanied (later issues?) of the You Don't Want My Name, You want my Action 4CD set.

Here's the apartment building that Iggy lived in when Jimmy Recca joined The Stooges – the Tower Plaza in Ann Arbor, MI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_Plaza_%28Ann_Arbor,_Michigan%29

Scott and James shared an apartment in this building too. Ron stayed in the Funhouse until they started to tear it down.

Did you see the inside of the apartments Iggy and Scott and James lived in? If so, what was it like in the Tower Plaza? On which floors were their apartments? I assume it was considered super-cool and futuristic to be living in the Tower at the time.

They towers were the newest structures to be built in A2. Yes, at the time it was considered hip to be living there. Rent was very expensive for 1970 and unfortunately the guys could only afford to live there for a short time. I did not get to visit since by the time I was back in A2, they had already moved.
