Looking to go to this if i can get a ticket, hope its not too expensive,

will it actually be seated? it would be hard to sit down at a stooges gig

It was seated last time, it is a seated venue, i do not think the seats move, pretty sure they don't, that didn't stop Iggy diving last time they played there. Tickets are sold to Royal festival hall members first and my experience is they always sell very fast pretty much regardless of which acts play this festival. The hall is designed for orchestra not rock concerts, the sound can be pretty dire at times, depending where you sit.
The phone lines always being jammed for hours when they do go on general sale.

Me too - the RFH date turned out to be a really inconvenient date anyway (even if I had managed to get a ticket, which I hadn't...) so a date later in the summer would be brilliant. But nothing seems to be scheduled...

If anybody's ears are still up for it, Bo Ningen are playing a free gig at the Southbank straight after the Stooges. I think it's in the central bar area. Definitely worth seeing.

The last train back to Colchester leaves Liverpool Street at 0046 so you might have a bit of time.
