| Hey folks,
I'm a long time lurker, first time poster on this site. I waited until I had something good.
I dj on UC Berkeley's radio station Kalx & I have James Williamson coming in for an interview this Saturday, July 19 at 1pm Pacific. It'll be for an hour & I'm told we'll have the radio premier of tracks from Re-Licked. You can listen on-line but the station's shows aren't archived. Tune in if you can!
Unfortunately, since I'm a new member I can't post links to the station website yet so just do a search for KALX & info on the show is at the bottom of the opening page of the website.

Same here, the originals were really hard to figure out what Iggy was singing

| I would love to know how these lyrics from this whole period of Stooge songwriting came about, and how personal they were . | |

| Got a chance to listen to this. The sound, instrumentation, arrangements and production of the featured songs (I Got A Right, Wild Love, Til The End Of The Night and Open Up And Bleed) are absolutely stunning, some of the best work ever by James Williamson, on the same level as Raw Power, I think. The singers all do a great job, too, but boy, do I miss Iggy's voice on those recordings! | |
