Does anybody know anything about this Flying V guitar he played before switching to the red Fender Stratocaster? It's likely a replica since Gibson only built 175 models in the late 60's. It looks like a sunburst finish with modern tuners and there's some weird marking on the head (and the truss rod cover is black without a logo).

It's a replica just like Ron's hair was during the Stooges reunion era.

Just kidding. Despite being overweight and balding the man remained lethal on the guitar till
the very end, a true rock star. In the long run all that matters is the talent.

Sorry for being facetious but all I know about the guitar in question is that Paul Stanley used to play it in the 1970's.
