Stooges/Iggy Book

Wondered if anyone could give me the lowdown on which of the latest Iggy/Stooges books are worth a read.

I've done I Need More, the Wild One and the aweseome Wonderland Avenue (which if you've never read do yourselves a favour go and get it right now), but fancy some bedtime reading this month.

I just finished Open Up and Bleed by our very own Paul T!

Avoid Gimme Danger. The bloke that wrote it isn't a fan and you'll just find it annoying.

'Open up and Bleed' by Paul Trynka is the best one though!

You certainly can't get a more comprehensive and detailed book than 'Open up & Bleed', and it's up to date. 'Gimme Danger' is ok but I don't quite understand why the author seems to have some sort of agenda to discredit Iggy. Also the sources (as I remember) generally seem to be second or even third-hand. 'The Complete Iggy Pop' analyzes individual songs both from the Stooges and Iggy's solo career as well as providing quite a lot of background, so it's pretty good. It's been a while since I read it though

Definitely 'Open Up and Bleed' It's about as thorough as you can get.
